Apply to the Prime 5 Catalyst Program
Stand Together’s Prime 5 Catalyst Program provides training, support, resources, and networking to organizations with a successful track record of fostering personal transformation in their communities. Catalysts are organizations with a proven model that are eager to collaborate to solve challenges and break down barriers to success. We are actively seeking organizations in Dallas that are committed to ongoing learning and looking for innovative ways to expand, replicate, or scale their impact. The goal of the program is to provide participating organizations with tools and resources for achieving increased social impact, as they define it.
Organizations participate in a four-month program, during which they receive training and resources to tackle specific business objectives with the support of their peers and experts in the field. The Prime 5 Catalyst class is a small cohort of 8-10 organizations from across Dallas.
Once a month, Catalysts meet in person to collaborate on an organizational development topic — from building a brand to measuring impact — which serves as a mechanism for feedback and guidance on the development of the business objective. Two of the in-person sessions will be Dallas-based, with two sessions held outside the metro Dallas area.
Organizations selected to participate in the Catalyst Program will be awarded a $25,000 grant.
The greatest takeaway [from the Catalyst Program] is that we’re all so connected. When you bring groups like this together, it’s so powerful because you can see that if we’re all given the resources and support we need to do our work, we are really tackling poverty and we have numbers to back it up. There’s a lot of power in being a part of this network. Katherine Katcher, Founder and Executive Director, Root & Rebound

Our three main areas of evaluation are:
We look for entrepreneurial leaders who are tenaciously committed to helping break the cycle of poverty in their community, and who embody integrity, humility, collaboration, and a long-term vision for growing their organization. An organization’s leadership is integral to its impact, success, and growth potential.
Thousands of organizations across the country are changing their communities for the better. We want to know what unique approaches and advantages does an organization offer its community. We also believe that those who focus on meeting the needs of their communities, rather than their funders, are best positioned to deliver transformative results.
Appetite for Collaboration, Growth, and Partnership with Others.
Our goal is to identify and partner with organizations making a difference in people’s lives. Ideally, these organizations are ready to collaborate, scale, or replicate their unique model to increase their impact. We look for engaged participants willing to join a network of like-minded, enthusiastic leaders.
DUE DILIGENCE AND SELECTION PROCESS
To be considered for the Catalyst Program, organizations must apply using our online portal. Applications are due no later than November 10, 2017 and are reviewed on a rolling basis. Applications move through an extensive screening and due diligence process with an initial assessment of all applications conducted by our staff. Stand Together staff meet with strong potential Catalysts in person to assess an organization’s model, finances, leadership, and social impact. They then develop a summary report on each organization that is reviewed by a selection committee. Upon selection, we notify organizations and finalize details of our partnership.
For questions about the program, please submit a contact form and our team will reach out directly.
